  18. HOTEL ON BEACH:
  19. None. Casada Bay Resort, Carriacou.  Built on top of the bluff that overlooks a few small islets including White Island. Presently closed, Casada Bay might reopen at any time. A wonderful bar, when it is operating, that overlooks White Island and other nearby 'islands in the stream'.

  21. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
  22. A multitude of starfish can be found in the crystal clear water surrounding the beach on White Island. There is a good reef for snorkeling and a great beach for lazing.

  24. ACCESS TO BEACH:
  25. Water access only. Boat service can be found from Casada Bay Resort to White Island. Make sure that you arrange with your boatman a time for pickup.

  27. QUALITY OF BEACH:
  28. Deserted island - white sand and that deep blue water.
  29. Take a long, slow walk around your domain for the day.

  31. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
  32. White Island is a tiny uninhabited islet with a green interior. Bring a beach umbrella, heavy sunscreen and a good book. It is advisable to bring refreshments as well. Excellent snorkeling with a plethora of starfish found on the sandy bottom close to the beach.
